PROGRAM

Saturday 5/10 Tests Athletic Events and Children's Races

9:00h to 9:30h collection of bibs.
9:45h Start of the athletic events.
13:30h Trophy Ceremony.

FIRST PART OF THE ATHLETIC DAY (rotation of 4 events):

Speed.
Hurdles.
Javelin Throwing.
High jump.

THE FIFTH EVENT WILL BE A MIDDLE-DISTANCE RACE:

Minis (100m)
Prebenjamins and Benjamins (400m)
Alevins (600m)
Infantils,Cadets and Juvenils (2400m)

Saturday 5/10 at 17h30 Activation/Shake Out Run: easy run, some progressions, some intervals and stretching. Maximum 30 minutes. Free activity, only for registered participants. Meeting at the Puigcerdá sports center.
You have to sign up!

Saturday 5/10 at 19h30 Breifing at the Sports Center, at the same place of the bib collection. There will also be the presentation of the elite athletes, the representatives of the NGO’s: Pulseres Candela Foundation and the wheelchair athletes of the NGO Incluyendo Sonrisas

Sunday 6/10
10:30h Half Marathon and 10k race start
10:35h Start of the 6k race and inclusive race.

From 13h – Family & Popular lunch next to the finish line!!!! For both runners and accompanying people!

First: to choose between pasta salad or Caesar salad.
Second: barbecue!
Dessert and drink.
Adults 15€ and children up to 11 years 10€ (You have to sign up!)

DAY CARE SERVICE during the races, so parents can run both!
Reception with permanent monitors: children from 3 to 16 years old can participate, they will be supervised by monitors, and will play games, inflatables...
You have to sign up on the same registration form.

BIB AND CHIP COLLECTION:

The day before the race, Saturday October 5th:
From 10h to 13:30h and from 17h to 20:30h at the Puigcerdá Sports Center.

Day of the race, Sunday October 6th:
On the day of the event, at the organizational Puigcerdá Sports Center, it will be possible to collect the race bibs and the chip from 8:00 am until 9:30 am.
* Only the official chip of the organization of the Puigcerdà Half Marathon can be used. The chip is non-transferable. Misuse implies disqualification.

FINISHER T-SHIRT FOR THE 3 DISTANCES

All participants of the 3 distances (Half Marathon, 10km race and 6km race) will get a “Finisher” T-shirt designed for the occasion. This T-shirt will be collected when the race bib is handed in.

IMPORTANT: Remember that the registrations made until Sunday 08/09/2024 will have the size assured. From the 9th of September and until 550 registrations (all 3 races) will have a T-shirt, but without size assured.
* In case of sold out, if we can extend the registrations, the T-shirt of these new registrations will be collected on a date after October 6th and that will be communicated via email to the participants on October 8th.

For this edition 2024 the T-shirt will be an exclusive design of TUGA brand for the event.

RAFFLE OF SPORTS EQUIPMENT AND PROXIMITY PRODUCTS

The day before the race there will be a big raffle of sports equipment and proximity products (offered by the sports stores of the village and stores of Puigcerdá). The winners of the prizes will be published by Instagram the day before by:

@sportmadness_catalunya

The collection of the prizes will take place in a tent located at the arrival of the races (on October 6th). All the raffled material and gifts will be exhibited, with the BIB of the winner.

FINISHER'S MEDAL FOR THE HALF MARATHON

All participants of the Half Marathon will receive a “Finisher” medal designed for the occasion. This medal will be collected at the finish line, once the athlete finishes the race.

HALF MARATHON IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE CANDELA BRACELETS FOUNDATION

How can you collaborate?

1. One euro of each registration (in any of the 3 modalities) will go to the PULSERAS CANDELA Foundation.

2. You can buy a solidarity T-shirt: the same T-shirt of the participants of the Half Marathon can be yours for 15€, which will go to the foundation as a donation.

INFO 26th PUIGCERDÁ HALF MARATHON - SUNDAY 6th OCTOBER 2024

The distance to be covered will be 21.097 km, in a route that will be developed by Puigcerdá and neighboring municipalities, measured by 2 official referees.
The place of start and arrival will be the Club Polideportivo Puigcerdá (Sports Center).
The start time will be at 10.30 am and the control will be closed at 13.00 hours. The start will be together with the runners of the 10km race. At 4.5 km the routes will be divided.
There will be 3 refreshment points along the route and a refreshment point at the finish.
The race is properly signposted.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
The Half Marathon is open to all people from 16 years old (born from 2008 - year included), who accept and respect, both the distance and the rules.

PRICE AND REGISTRATION:
Registrations until August 15 = 22€.
Registrations between August 16th and September 25th = 24€.
Registrations between September 26th and October 4th at 20h (or sold out the 550 bibs) = 27€.
*1€ of the registrations will go to the Pulseres Candela Foundation.
*Remember that from the 8th of September the size of the T-shirt is NOT guaranteed.

AWARDS:
Trophies for the top 5 male and female finishers in the absolute category.
Trophies for the 3 first classified male and female of the rest of categories (the prizes are cumulative):

Absolute.
Under 21 (16 to 20 years old) - born between 2004 and 2008.
Senior (21 to 35 years old) - born between 2003 and 1989.
Veterans (36 to 45 years old) - born between 1988 and 1979.
Master (46 to 55 years old) - born between 1978 and 1969.
Master 2 (56 and over) - born between 1968 and previous years.
*In case of any change of category on the day of the race (due to an error in the year of birth when registering), this change will only be accepted if the participant shows his/her ID card, to verify the date of birth.

Cash prizes to the first 5 classified (absolute category) male and female:
1st and 1st classified = 500€.
2nd and 2nd classified = 300€.
3rd and 3rd classified = 200€.
4th and 4th classified = 100€.
5th and 5th classified = 100€.

Cash prizes to the 3 best participating Clubs (sum of the 2 best male times and the best female time).
1st club classified = 500€.
2nd club classified = 300€.
3rd club classified = 200€.
*In order to participate in the Club awards, athletes must be federated to the Fca, Rfea, Feec, Fedme, regional federation or from another country... with the same Club. In case of a group of athletes with independent license, they can only form a team, if during the current year they represent the same sport entity and can prove that they have competed all year with the same club. The organization may cancel the awards in any case if the requirements are not met. Any change or modification on the day of the race will NOT be accepted.

10km RACE OF PUIGCERDÁ - SUNDAY 6th OCTOBER 2024

The distance to be covered will be 10Km, with a route entirely through the town of Puigcerdá.
The place of start and arrival will be the Club Polideportivo Puigcerdá (Sports Center)
The start time will be at 10.30 am and the control will be closed at 12.00 am. The start will be together with the runners of the Half Marathon. At 4.5 km the routes will be divided.
There will be 1 refreshment point at km 4.5 of the course and the finish refreshment.
The race is properly signposted.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

The 10km race is open to all people from 14 years old (born from 2010 - year included), who accept and respect both the distance and the rules.

PRICE AND REGISTRATION:

Registrations until August 15 = 16€.
Registrations between August 16th and September 25th = 18€.
Registrations between September 26th and October 4th at 8pm (or until the 550 bibs are sold out) = 21€.
*1€ of the registrations will go to the Pulseres Candela Foundation.

6km RACE OF PUIGCERDÁ - SUNDAY 6 OCTOBER 2024

The distance to be covered will be 6Km, with a route that will be developed entirely by the town of Puigcerdá.
The place of start and arrival will be the Club Polideportivo Puigcerdá (Sports Center)
The start time will be at 10.35 am and the control will be closed at 12.00 am.
There will be no refreshments points along the route. Only refreshment point on arrival.
The race is properly signposted.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

The 6km race is open to all people from 10 years old (born from 2014 - year included), who accept and respect both the distance and the rules. This race will also be the INCLUSIVE race!

PRICE AND REGISTRATIONS:

Registrations until August 15 = 14€.
Registrations between August 16th and September 25th = 16€.
Registrations between September 26th and October 4th at 8pm (or until all the 550 bibs are sold out) = 19€.
*1€ of the registrations will go to the Pulseres Candela Foundation.
*Remember that from the 8th of September the size of the T-shirt is NOT guaranteed.

AWARDS:
